BREAK DOWN THE LANGUAGE BARRIER
Having had a variety of experiences in the “Russian Women” dating adventure (One scam that lasted 11 months and cost about $1500 in agency fees, and a wonderful 2 year relationship with a woman in Kazakhstan with whom I visited in Turkey once, and two visits to her home country, but she was not prepared to move to the US), I’m a true believer in this means of possibly meeting your future partner.
The biggest obstacle I’ve seen, however, is the language barrier. Despite what the agencies say, the chance of finding a beautiful Russian Lady who is comfortable and capable at speaking English is very rare.
So, what is the solution? A translator of your emails you must pay and trust with your attempts at written intimacy? A Russian/English translation device that can often garble what you’re trying to say or understand? The old fashioned Russian/English dictionary that can take hours to use to say the simplest things?
Or are you really ready to commit to learning the Russian language and to your lady’s learning English?

Recently, through a close friendship with a couple here in San Diego (he is American… She is Russian, from Ukraine), I have become connected with The Meridian Language Center, a very successful Language School located in Sevastopol, Ukraine. I agree that learning Russian would help anyone with this process. Learning Russian is a little like eating an elephant. You can't eat an elephant in a day. But if you eat an Elephant sandwich every single day for a couple of years then you will eventually eat the sucker.
It is the same with a very difficult language like Russian. If you study for an hour a day every single day then in a couple of years you will have learned it.
There are excellent language schools, pimsleur CDs, Rosetta Stone, and many others.
