Discussing Corona Virus Around the World

At the time of this post, the world is waiting to come back up from its pandemic hiding place. No continent or country has been spared from the illness that accomplished the impossible by stopping the wheels of modern society.

Will we ever be the same again? How will the pandemic effect travel in the future? Will we once again travel to foreign lands to meet beautiful women in Ukraine, exotic women of China, or Latin women from Colombia, Peru, and Costa Rica.

Let's have your thoughts of the future, whatever it might become.

Optimistic Girl Here

You must have just posted this topic. I'm starting to become a little addicted to these forums and this topic hits home for me.

I have a boyfriend who works in Cebu Philippines and he tells me that the virus has been bad in some places. Many people from China work in the Philippines and that spreads the virus.

I have the optimistic heart and soul so I believe our tomorrows will be bright again. I do think travel will change. I don't know how. I know that right now my boyfriend cant come home to the US because the airlines are stopped from coming here.

Keep your spirits high people. Peace to us all.

Colombia Virus Restrictions and Numbers

I keep up on Colombia restrictions due to COVID19. As of today, June 15th 2020, sectors like retail and non-COVID-related medical care have begun normalizing, but large events, bars and nightclubs will continue to be closed. Restaurants will be open for takeaway orders only. Travel in and out of the country is still restricted.

50,939 cases have been reported, with 1,667 deaths or 3.3 percent fatality rate.

Mexico COVID?

Haven't trusted the lying newscasters for decades and not much of a government believer either. I do love Mexico, certain of that. Would like to know what some here might know from their travels and experiences when it comes to the land under the border?

Moroco and Spain travel in Europe

My friends were taking a trip around the globe when the virus started. They were stuck in Morroco for three months and eventually got aboard a rescue ferry to Spain. They told me Spain was just opening up but Morroco was closed like a safe. They were lucky to get the rescue ferry across.

They told me that they saw or knew no one with the virus, in either country. And their own families haven't met anyone who contacted the virus. That seems funny to me, not in a humorous way, but irony.

Has anyone here known of a virus victim?
